About Us
We are Andre & Marina Olivier, serving as Independent Christian Missionaries here in Thailand on a full time basis since December 2013. Together we have 5 children and 6 grandchildren back in South Africa. Not always easy being away from them for long periods of time, missing birthdays, Christmases and those special family moments. We praise the Lord for social media who makes it a little bit easier for communication but the hugs and kisses and being present at times . . . you always long for those. At first we served in a small country district called Kanthararom in the Sisaket Province North East of Thailand with a population of +- 100 000 Thai’s. We were the only “foreigners” staying in this little district. Kanthararom Full Gospel Church were just started to be build and with only seven Christians in Kanthararom. God beginned a unbelievable journey for us being Christian Missionaries in a country, open for the True Gospel but has a 93% of the population being Buddhist. Thailand has a population of almost 70 million people. We served in Kanthararom and helped the church grow from 7 members to 18 from December 2013 – September 2019.
In September 2019 we had a change of season as our time in Kanthararom came to an end. We moved to the district of Hua Hin in Prachuap Kiri Khan Province. Hua Hin is the beginning of the south region of Thailand. Here we help Pastor Nipon from the Hua Hin Full Gospel Church. We took over the disciple making of church members and started Bible
study groups in the church. Hua Hin has a large expacts community of retirees from all over the world and among them are some Christians. We started a fellowship group among
expacts who joins in for the English sermon every second Sunday at our church and we also have weekly fellowship together.
We are grateful to God, giving Him all the glory and praise for the amazing and wonderful honor it is to serve Him in a land desperately in need of the true Gospel where oppression
and worshipping of idols are present in every home and corner. We believe there is only but one answer to this and it is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour who as a man, walked on
this earth in perfect obedience to the Law of God. In the fullness of time, He was rejected by men and crucified. On the cross, He bore man’s sin, suffered God’s wrath, and died in
man’s place. On the third day, He was raised from the dead.
His resurrection is the divine declaration that the Father has accepted His Son’s death as a sacrifice for our sin, that the penalty for man’s disobedience has been paid, the demands of justice satisfied, and the wrath of God appeased. Fourty days after the resurrection, the Son of God ascended into heaven and sat down at the right hand of the Father, and was given glory, honor, and dominion over all. There in the presence of God, He represents His people and makes requests to God on their behalf. All who acknowledge their sinful,
helpless estate, and throw themselves upon Christ will be fully pardoned, declared righteous, and reconciled to God.
John 3:16-18
16 “For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son
into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not
believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.
Our Mission:
Just simply sharing the True Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the lost and broken hearted.
Our Principles:
Biblical Foundation
We honor the Bible as the only source and standard by which we must evaluate all belief, instruction, policy, and practice (2 Tim. 3:16).
We will remain true to our statement of faith (2 Tim. 1:13).
Servant Leadership
Select servant leaders of sound ability and character (1 Tim. 3:1-13).
Spiritual Commitment
We stay in close fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ and don’t want to give Him any reason to say, “I have this against you, that you have left your first love” (Rev. 2:4).
Do the work in the Lord’s wisdom and strength rather than trying to do it on our own (Gal. 2:20; 3:3).
To show a consistent pattern of behavior that distinguishes us as the Lord’s people, whether on or off the job (1 Pet. 1:14-15).
Always trust in God and do what is right (1 Pet. 3:16).
Concern For Those We Serve
Provide the kind of personal, prompt, and practical attention that we would want for ourselves (2 Cor. 4:5, 15).
Speak the truth in love. We avoid being unnecessarily offensive (2 Tim. 2:24).
Cultivate an open and honest relationship with those who respond to our efforts (2 Cor. 4:2).
Be sensitive to all other relationships and spheres of influence, including but not limited to vendors, visitors, neighbors, community, and government (Rom. 13:7-8).
Concern For Co-Workers
Recognize the individual worth and the personal interests of those with whom we work (Phil. 2:1-4).
Relationship To Other Ministries
Recognize and respect what the Lord is doing through other individuals and organizations (1 Cor. 1:10-13).
Avoid any affiliation that would compromise our purpose or weaken our effectiveness (2 Cor. 6:14).
Conduct our ministry in a way that supports and complements the local churches (Eph. 4:1-7).
